Not from where I’m sat SD. Who is mindar harassing? From what I can see she is merely noting every time someone refers to her as “Joe” and makes a derogatory comment about “Joe” that is a slight on her character. If she feels bullied/harassed she’d be well within her rights to take that to a higher level. It is, after all, an ecrime.

And when she converses with others she seems to do it with good manners and grace.

And it’s not just against mindar is it?

It’s a certain number of other female members too.

One member sets the ball rolling and a couple of others join in.

I don't think it's anything to do with having a quiet life. Racism and sexism have been allowed to fester here. I was once called a c**t here and all that happened was the post was removed and not the poster, the poster being a male of course, in fact it was Billy who called me that, a real chauvinist if ever there was. Not one single woman said a word about it either. They must have been afraid to say a word in case they were removed, just like a lot of women were in the purge that saw most of the best posters gone and most were women who had opinions.

Yes! It does happen far too frequently, which shows how our society is gathering distasteful characteristics and losing those positive attributes which gave our working-class society a more friendly and pleasant environment to be in.
Additionally, those for whom such victimization from the type of abuse that has been highlighted on this thread are not always women.

The FAO Admin thread was highlighting the abuse I was getting form certain male individuals. The thread was deleted by the boss, as is their right. But it seems no one has been held to account for their vindictiveness. I agree ianp that its not just women.

There are quite a few of us women who come in for some online abuse, so don't play the victim. Lisa and Nanajacqui know you personally, and you sound none to convincing to them. You need to step up if you are indeed custard,, which I doubt.

Believe me I never back down and I will always step up and defend myself...like you said Lisa and nana know me and we have all met...They are good friends of mine .just trying to stand my ground here without offending anyone...

I am coming to the conclusion that far from being a victim you are actually enjoying the experience and encouraging it.

Probably explains why admin are not paying a blind but of notice to your constant moaning and whinging.

There was recently a meeting at the town hall to fight on line abuse, after Donna Hall, Jo Platt and others were subjected to much the same on line, Granted I'm not in public office, but every person who is abused/bullied or harrassed on line should be protected from such. I'm sorry that the admins on Wigan World choose to ignore this. I am not joe, nor am I jazzy as it seems Stardelta has me down as today. Nor did I post what stardellta has posted below. The bottom line he and others, jarvo and basil brush are out to tarnish me. Why I dont know, I've done nothing to warrant this abuse. Jarvo started all this by accusing me of being joe /joseph. Now the forum trolls believe every word he puts in print.
