That's a good point, Orrellite. A friend who's worked in care homes advises asking to look around any upstairs lounges too, as the sprightlier residents are usually downstairs whereas people requiring more involved care tend to be on the upper floor(s).

Please visit Norley Hall, a fantastic well run and homely residential accomadation. From the Manager down to the black cat, the home is really good. The staff are welcoming, friendly and on the whole will find the time to help, assist and accomadate you..
