Posted by: jamse (2548) Report abuse
Quite a few round here with it. Trying to keep the coughing and spluttering to a minimum but she's not for listening

Posted by: dostaf (50016) Report abuse
Expect a berating about how you'd be too ill to be typing if you had flu proper, KD.

Where's the Surgeon General when we need him?

Get well soon, all the same.

I'm 'across the pond' as they say, so it could be something different, but I am just now getting to feeling something like normal after almost 4 weeks.. I had a fever everyday for 3 weeks... I didn't have a cold, no runny nose, congestion, cough, nothing like that... just fever and hurting all over, even my skin hurt.....

I thought it was the flu, knowing there is nothing you can do for the flu, ( apart from rest and plenty liquids) I waited a good week before even calling the Drs office, I went in to see him and he said he hadn't had anyone else in with what I had... Anyway, I think it's over, hope you are feeling better soon..

KD - hope you are feeling better soon. I had a bad cold a few weeks ago and the cough was pure evil.

I am a little inclined to agree with Dostaf's line - if it was real flu then you wouldn't be typing.

Only messin - get well soon.

Posted by: jouell (3246) Report abuse
Billy I do take Fish oil, Pro-biotic, Vitamin D and Multi Vitamin... What ever I had, took over, in spite of all the above...

See^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Fortunately, I don't think I've ever had 'propre flu'.

Oh, and I'm surprised the subject of so-called man flu hasn't popped up.

I don't do that and hate the term.

I also hate those cold tratment adverts which feature proper mardy men.

They want shooting for taking on the acting roles.

A very nice black pharmacist named Joseph gave me a flu jab last week for £7.00. This is the first time I have ever had one, had no side effects or anything else yet.

Posted by: dostaf (50016) Report abuse
There's slightly too much information in that post, Mester.

If I described what images I have in my mind there would be complaining aplenty.

Posted by: joseph 1 (18875) Report abuse
But he was!

Posted by: dostaf (50016) Report abuse
I know there's nowt wrong with calling a Pharmacist a Pharmacist. But I just have a naughty imag in mind.

Marie's right, kellysdad. It's a bad cold you've got not the flu.
If you had proper flu you would barely be able to get out of bed to go to the loo........it's awful, you feel you're dying !!!
Hope you soon feel better from your cold !!!
