There'll be more retro toffee shops than tobacconists soon.

I blame the smoking ban.

But they will still sell sweet tobbaco toffee!

I bet they don't do retro sweet cigarettes and 'smokers' compendiums'.

Lovley Compendium

I would love one of those, although we don't smoke.

I think 'compendium' may be the wrong word for what I'm thinking of.

They've been mentioned on here before. A box of confectionery smoking items for the young future nicotine addicts to whet their appetites on.

"whet"

I remember the toffee cigs with a red end and when you blew them a puff of powder came out, you had to keep them dry though and not whet!

Yes "whet"

Don't be clever dickie with me.

Whet

Deceased mate of mine used to refer to a drink (ale) as a wet/whet.

I've never heard of whet before. Or I forgot about it.

I seem to recall they were called chocolate smoking sets dustaf and contained I think a pipe, a cigar, cigarettes and a lighter all made from chocolate, I've had a google but I can only find a photo of a liquorice pipe.
