Started by: Anne (3013)  Report abuse
My new bin calendar has arrived, still the same until 19th September. It says NEW calendar will arrive in September. Can't wait for it!

Apparently they sent our bin calendars out, black bin calendar comes in a fortnight and the blue and brown three weeks after that!

We all know the collection days for our bins at the present time why has a team of people been employed to give us new calendars till SeptemberWhy did the council not wait until they have sorted the new bin days out(led to believe day may change), Then issue up to-date calendars then.We has ratepayers are now paying TWICE not only for the delivery but also the printing etc

WWC for you, Wigan Wasteful Council

Posted by: PeterP (5955) Report abuse
Wigan council waste money again by posting out to every household a booklet about recycling and telling us our bins will be on a 3 week cycle plus Green bin stopping on a 2 week cycle. This will start after the 25th Sept but they have not enclosed a leaflet telling what day/date our bins will be emptied(some routes are being changed) So sometime in the next few weeks either the postman or leaflet distributors will be posting yet another leaflet at our expense to our premises telling WHEN our bins will be emptied

I wonder if smiffy will have to wait 3 weeks to have his black bin emptied when it gets a bit full and smelly?
