Abuse, surely!

"MPs had been told how women in heels were expected to climb ladders, move furniture and walk for great distances......"

Is this the thin end of the wedge?

I don't look good in high heels

Posted by: lectriclegs (2609) Report abuse
Oh, I don't know about that,Tommy

Maybe MPs should be made to wear handcuffs at work, to remind them to keep their mitts out of the public purse!

Strange that no women have posted comment on this thread.

No one's going to force me to wear high heels if I don't want to!

Well, if your employer insists that they are required dress code for the job, they can now legally dismiss you if you do not conform to it!

ive never been able to walk in high heels, but I have worked all my life in factories shops and offices.

PS I'm a woman and 76 years old.

Some ladies can't wear high heels due to spinal problems and other medical issues. So I'd like to see how far an employer would get trying to dismiss a lady for not wearing high heels, who can't wear them for medical reasons!

Eve if they don't have medical problems now it can cause them later.

Ridiculous that they can be sacked for not wearing them.

Agree, Jamse, they can cause medical problems later also.
I can see employers having to pay out personal injury compensation if they force ladies to wear shoes that cause medical problems.
It's ridiculous.
