Mrs Blinston...

Happy days at Robert Lewis and Mrs Blinston...The greatest teacher I ever had. What a wonderful caring and kind teacher she was.
Never was a woman more dedicated. I blossomed in her class and English was her forte.
She worked so hard during the day that when it came to Storytime at 3 o'clock, she would nod off reading us a story...but somehow managed to keep reading it...with her eyes shut...
What a total professional...
That wouldn't happen today.
The kids would report her for being asleep on the job...

Aspuller: she had two children, a boy and a girl. The boy was Gilbert, but I can't remember the girl's name. She used to come to school in a black Morris Minor...
If you go on Album, you will see her on a class photo at Poolstock in the mid fifties.
Judyteen: Yes, I think when we all moved to Pem Primary, she taught Junior 2.

She'd be in prison...

true that, they would think she was up to something instead of realising she was just being helpful and caring
