Started by: madamehmurray (6273)

I was trying to plug in the popcorn machine and the machinical can opener hit me on the head. It knocked me out for a minute. Dave wanted me to the Hospital but I am fine now.

Erin, you should always wear a helmet and protective goggles when you're plugging in a popcorn machine!

Then best leave it be getwom. Leave it to the experts. As we have seen it can be dangerous.

Nearly as bad as getting caught in the bacon slicer.

I've just studied that newsreel and was shocked at what I saw. Yon weasel was lying in the road after (presumably) being hit by the car. What's the copper do? He shifts him.

I've seen the Bill and that's not how it's done. Shows what badgers know.

Having watched the film again myself i am pleased that PC Badger had fully assessed the situation and was happy that young weasel was not in any danger and took the appropriate action and moved the youngster to a safer spot.

I would like to thank Mollie for bringing this to our attention as this could have gone unnoticed for several years. There are now multiple speed bumps at the road in question and a number of SLOW signs at varying locations in the area.

That lad was injured. PC (I'm no doctor) Badger said Willie had been hurt and wouldn't be able to play for a long time. Look at his face as he has to sit down on the pavement.

Good job there were no Accident Group adverts on at the same time as this was broadcast.

pS Thanks mollie. Were you there by any chance?

Injured yes and certainly hurt, but no serious trauma was evident, and the PC did his duty to the full as would any descent citizen. I would at this point like to say the look on young Willie's face is more of a look of disappointment at not being able to "to play for a long time" than any injury suffered in the accident, which i may add was caused by the weasel by not taking his surroundings into consideration.

I now propose that no further action should be taken against PC. Badger in this case.

May i also add that "Buttering up" the witness by the opposition will not be accepted.

I've been had.

Further images on that link show tht this was not the only time Master Weasel was involved in a RTA. The other incident involved an ice-cream van and a suspiciously similar car. The fraud squad have been informed. I am now concerned about the signage on the back of ice-cream vans. Mind that child hardly prepares you for a five foot weasel jumping out at you.

The Council will be told.

I'm sure there was a film with the weasel on crutches.
