Had 9 children - james born 1862 in nether, knutsford, sarah 1865 knutsford , Ellen 1868 wigan, john 1870 knutsford, mary (my G-G-Grandmother) 1872 wigan, Margaret 1874 Pemberton, Catherine 1876 Pemberton, Anne 1879 Wigan & Edward 1883 prescot. Lived in prescot 1881 census & Reservoir st, Ashton- in- M,1891 & 1901 census. Mary married James Rigby (b.1867 in Lamberhead Green)in 1891 Wigan. Children - Edward my great grandfather born 1892 in Ashton died in Mosley Common 1967, Maggie born 1894 in WestLeigh & thomas born 1896 in Pemberton.
