Notes / message: anyon have any connctions with these namesjames & ellen lived in soho st wigan in 1912.they moved to platt lane worthington-they were never married(ellen was married to someone called wilson)but had 4 children,all of who had their fathers name-they were elizabeth,stephen, thomas &george.
ellen came from spring gardens,wigan.At the time of her marriage to wilson she was still living there,but 10yrs earlier she was living in Frog ln,with her mother(widow) and her siblings.In 1891 she is living ith her husband on Preston rd. Stsandish and a 1yr old daughter Mary Ann.In 1901 she is living with wilson in Yorkshire-no mention of Mary Ann but with 2 daughters Beatrice and Esther.At some point after this she starts to live with with JAMES WHELAN and has 4 chlidren with him by 1912.
At the time of her death in 1926 she is living in Platt ln, Worthington and her death was registered by Beatrice Wilson whose adre is in Yorkshire, and Ellen is shown as still being marrid to wilson.James Whelan died in Platt lane at the same adress ,in 1941.
ellen had a sister -ISABELLA who married a JAMES EASTHAMin 1891 and went to lie in Standish.
JAMES WHELAN was born and lived in Standish -Father STEPHEN-43

On Lancashire BMDthere is no trace of these children having been registered at birth,but on thre cesus are all listed as being born in STANDISH WITH LANGTREE.
