||Looking to locate further details on Henry Monks a man who worked for Coop and Co Ltd, Coops Mill, Dorning Street, Wigan before joining the army and dying in action during the First World War. I have located several possible, but no additional details, possible are as follows;
Lance Corporal HENRY MONKS
17150, "D" Coy. 9th Bn., Cheshire Regiment, who died age 21, on 02 July 1916.
Son of Mr. and Mrs. Monks, of 20, Moston St., Reddish, Stockport.
