any idea who the people are , bit before my time.
This is John Rotherham receioving a cheque for a special trip abroad. I cannot remeber what it was. on the left is Arnold Woodcock who was a founder Officer of the Company and the 2nd Captain. He was also a local councillor at Hindley council and that is his role in the pic. The vicar and chaplain is Rev Robert Wilson one of the best we had. The Officer is William (Bill ) Eatock Captain. I think the others are poss council reps.
The man standing second from the right is Ralph Milner he became mayor of Hindley
