RAF Turnhouse was the old name for Edinburgh Airport.Cadets were on camp there in 1994.I am seated, 3rd from right. Wigan C.O.Flt.Lt.E Kay is 5th from left. The RAF left a couple of years later, but the Spitfire was still there when I took my wife to see the place about 1997

I have been to an open day at 316(Leigh)Sqdrn, tonight 11/Sept.08 and the C.O.is Flt.Lt.Dan Freeney. On this 1994 photo'he was a Civilian Instructor, he is 3rd left seated.
