Tempest at Calais-Marck

Not exactly RAF photo', but this Hawker Tempest MkV had force landed on the disused airfield of Calais-Marck in 1947 en-route from Germany to England and I had been ordered to guard it until the RAF Crash Team came to move it. I was in No1 Independent Company, The Loyal Regt' stationed at Calais at the time and a French lad took the photo's.
