Wigan Album

An unusual name for Wigan and district, i knew one person with the same name, he was, Maximilian E Vitali he lived in Standish and worked at H J Heinz when i did, so i assumed they must be related. This gentleman was his grandfather, Emanuele Vitali, b 1862 in Palermo, Sicily, he is named on the 1911 census as a Fine Art and General Dealer, he passed away in 1960. The name Maximilian passed through three generations that i know of, and why not ? a great name.
