Taken on forecourt at Central Park in 1950 (where Tesco filling station is now) It was a very special cargo Dad drove around the North of England he clocked up over 100,000 miles just taking W.R.F.C (now know as Warriors) to away matches. Long before any motorways, turbos, power steering, cruise controls & sat navs. I would not be surprised if all the road sign's had been put back up from the W.W.2 when this photo was taken!

I was in partnership with Thomas in 1969 - 1970 top chap very funny, always made me laugh, we had some great times with Colin Brockbank also, we used to have a bright yellow short wheelbase land rover with MK10 Jaguar wheels and tyres (wide wheels nothing new today ) it handle like sh*t on snow as we found out many a time especially one snowy day in Mesnes Road spinning 5 times and facing backwards, R I P. Thomas

I was at All Saint's school when Thomas was there - same age as myself.

How's young Clifford going on? Not seen him for years.

He seems to be doing o.k. to me Jarvo, he's does a bit for xxxxxxxx from time to time, he does a bit on the tippers for xxxxxxxx occasionally , as well as doing a bit of coaching for xxxxxx. You understand, I don't want to drop him in the stinky stuff, bottom line he's doing o.k. Regards. Ozzy.

Disregard my previous comment Jarvo, I'd found a long forgotten bottle of Cockburn's special reserve lurking behind the pasta at the back of the cupboard and I'd been celebrating the return of the prodigal son. Cliff's doing o.k. Though. Ozzy.

This is my Grandad. Miss him.so much. My Mother is Margaret Unsworth now married of course. I've really enjoyed reading all your lovely comments and so glad people remember the good times with the coaches and growing up with my Mum, Aunts and Uncles. Very very proud of them all.
