Found near Mill Brook, the boundary line between Standish and Shevington - but also, presumably, marking the edge of the property belonging to TDH in 1806. Perhaps placed there when coal-getting in the area might have led to disputes about whose land was being mined.

I remember me and an old friend pulling this dead weight out of the brook for preservation some years ago - first time I've seen it since. Nice one Rev.

I always thought this was a grave stone
