Hi Roy. A friend of mine, Sid Berry, worked at Mark Williams. It would be about sixty, or more years ago. Did you work there then?

Albert, would that be Sid Berry from Spring View who became a milkman ?

Comment by: Albert. on 28th July 2014 at 16:38

Marcus. That was Jack Berry, Sid's cousin.

Hi Roy. Sid would have started work at Mark William's somewhere about 1949. He took up other employment well before 1959.

Jimmy/ Marcus. I do know that Jack took over a milk delivery business, from, I believe, a Mr Turner. He had the business, on the opposite side of the road, from the Black Diamond pub, in Lower Ince. Whether or not, a relation named Sidney, took over the business from Jack, I am unable to say. I do know, the Sid Berry that I am referring to, went to School with me in the forties. I still contact him occasionally.
