Am holding rifle on front row right as seen.Fired rifle fired Brengun .Ran across a field screaming and thrust bayonet into a sack of straw.Crawled thro mud.Swung over a pond on a rope and was then ready to fight the Russians and later the locals in Henlow.

Neil, did you know a lad by the name of Brian Reeves?
He was doing his basic training at that camp about that time

Did get frendly with a Brian on potatoe peeling.We sat in a pile of potatoes peeling and putting into buckets of water.When thought we had finished a rope was pulled and another pile thundered down a shute.
