Wigan and District Girl Guides July 26-Aug 2 1952 at Anglesey Camp.

Is the girl 5th right looking at the photo, Pam Aspinall?
Pam and I were pupils at Wigan High School from 1950 to 1955. I believe she went to live in America.

The Guide Capt Joan Hesketh is my aunt and she is still in touch with Betty Bolton, albeit by telephone. My aunt is still in the same house that many guides visited to do badge work, cooking, camping skills etc.

Further to my comment posted on March 11 last year I am sad to report that my Aunt Joan Hesketh died on 22nd March 2014 - after a full life of helping others.
