St Catharine's 5th Wigan BB Walking Day Mid 1950s Darlington St

Taken I think in Darlington St in June sometime in the mid 1950s during St Catharine's walking day. Roy Brookes can be seen playing the tennor drum. Roy became a valued officer in the company and served the parish youth for many years. The boy in front palying the side drum could be ?Rutter. Any other names would be welcomed.

That is definately me on the side drum (Ken Rutter). In later years I became Captain of the 1st Wigan (pictures can be found on the Assorted album 1st Wigan. Lovely to see the picture as all my early photographs have been mislaid, do you have any more
