Hi Rob. I vaguely remember you from early 70's. One of my mates from my schooldays, Banny had a drum kit. He lived on Walpole Avenue. I remember having a bash on his drums but I was useless! Do you remember him?
Hi , you don, t say who you are. Sttey banny was at an halloween party in our houselast but one halloween ago. Banny bought those drums to help me form my very first band, I was 13 banny was 11. We playedin the new inn one night.
Hi Rob.
Ive never seen Banny since we left Whitley High school, 1975.
He was a great, popular lad.
Another name springs to mind with Bannys drums, band, etc was another guitarist. His surname was Meehan. I cant remember his forename though. I was only young at the time, same age as Banny!
I
that other guitarist would have been me Bill(y) Meehan from Kingsley Avenue
Hi Billy, how are you. What u up to these days. Remember practices at St Judes and gigging at Worsley Mesnes Club at the tender age 14 or 15. Pity there are no pics of that.
remember it well- you asking Father Tobin who does he think he is when he told us to stop practising - we didn't use St Judes any more after that!
Other memories include you telling drummer and organist at Worsley Mesnes they were out of time, bumping your dad's robin reliant (no insurance or licence!), mouth hanger at Half Way House and many others - happy days!
