You're spot on again Colin, my favorite car along with my Ford Zephyr 2.5 lowline that I had in the early 1960's, my favorites but not comparable to todays cars. I think the worst one was my Maxi(watch this space) You seem to know your cars

Stephen, Nothing wrong with the build quality of my 1983 Capri, but I did have the automatic choke taken off when it started sticking. I taught my daughter and son to drive in it. Cracking motor.

I've had a couple of Capris, my friend had an Opel Manta, it wasn't a patch on my Capris. He always complained it used nearly as much oil as petrol!

must admit would love a capri now, remember the jps one black with gold pin stripes made around 1977.

I had a couple of Mk2 Capri's in the early '80's;- '76 1.6L & '75 2.0 Ghia. Great cars to drive. Flogged the Ghia to scrape together a House Deposit and traded down to a Marina - oh the shame !
