It's not a BSA Bantam it's a Francis Barnett !! Not many of these seen at Lil's Cafe :-)

I remember a mate of mine having one with dropped handlebars - I think it had a 197cc villiers engine !! In those days we couldn't afford petrol let alone servicing and one day he was pulled by the local constabulary. When the policeman checked it over, he let him choose what he did him for. There was that much wrong he would have been paying yet if he had done him for everything..... Happy days.

My first m/bike was a 125 Bantam when I was 16. Flat out it would eventually reach 46 MPH.I had to decoke it regulary to get that.
