Hindley Salvation Army Band (see front of drum) would think it dates from around WW1

The Salvation Army Hindley Barracks was situated in Market St.It was near to what is now Sherringtons Coffee House,there was a grand entrance that led to a prayer room upstairs.If you look closely the entrance is still there but is boarded up.
