This car was bought when we had the shop in Billinge Road. I used to tow a mobile shop trailer with it and serve the estate at Highfield. It met its demise when I was taking our eldest son back to college. We were struck on the side by a car which jumped a red light at the Haydock island. The car finished up being sold for scrap for £30. It had an interesting plate GUG101D. Probably worth more today than the car itself!

I had a 101 saloon in white, the No plate was EFY122D.

Great photos Fred, Vauxhall 101 FB from 1964-1967, next to it Triumph Herald and next to that Sunbeam Alpine.
