My certificate of babtism by Rev.Arthur Dean April 7th.1935.I was born February 23rd.Rev.Dean became Canon A.Dean many years after.

Some thought-provoking passages at the bottom of this Certificate. Generations of children later, the instilling of the human values these passages represent and at which most of us succeeded in carrying out in some small way, seems to have pretty much gone by the wayside - and I'm not talking about putting the fear of God in children either!

Harry, I have one of these which belonged to my aunt. Would you remember the shop on liverpool rd. just under the railway bridge(its now a house0 it belonged I think to the crook family?
