This 1963 Leyland Titan PD2A/Massey is seen in unfamiliar country roads. I would love to know what a Wigan bus is doing in a rural setting and, indeed, where this picture was taken. The bus on the left of the picture belongs to 'Midland General' who worked around the Mansfield are of Nottinghamshire. Whether that gives a clue to where the picture was taken, I don't know. I reckon the picture was taken between 1964 and 1970.

They got all over the place, especially club outings to Southport, Blackpool, etc. Being Private, it very well could be one of those.;o)
