Gwen, did we have Girl Guides in Poolstock? I can remember the Scouts with Mr. Haselden and the Church Lads Brigade with Fred Rosbotham. Ah! Happy Days in Poolstock, at school with Mr. Smith.

No we did not have girl guides in Poolstock, that is why I went to St Georges in Wigan think Mrs Haselden formed a troop some years latter.did not like Mr Smith when he threw the board duster at use
