in this pic girl in potty hat is my mam annie beckett nee mawdesley boy at front is her brother john mawdesley just at back of him is my great uncle joe mawdesley mam & johns uncle , theres a woman behinde him she is unknown to me &to left of door is someones arm wonder who it was ,year mid 20s

i love this pic just look at my mams dress or pinnie with holes in it & they all wearing hats & clogs loverly!! my mam died this year age 90!

This is lovely, Josie! They may have worn clogs and pinnies with holes in but they still whitened the end of the mopped front door step with donkey stone out of pride.

course u can & its a bit better quality as i am only takeing photos of photos this was shiny so was getting a lot of reflection

i apologise to all the MAWDSLEY family for percistantly spelling your mame wrong my mams name was mawdsley so why i keep spelling it wrong i dont know(bad speller i expect) .
