l-r Kitty and Harry Bolton with their friend and neighbour Annie Parkinson who all lived in Poolstock Lane. I expect Annie's husband took the photo.

Definitely not Margaret!
His shoes would be the latest fashion, possibly American two-tone style, co-ordinating with his outfit. We're talking about trendsetters here!!

Yes of course I remember the style well,two tone with flared trousers,and matching underpants.
