My little girl used to go every Sunday in the late 60's. We used to live on Elizabeth Avenue, just across from the chapel. Is is still there, and is it still used as a chapel?

Had such fond memories. Went with my sister Jackie and my brother Tony. Remember Marion Webb, Jim Gulliver collecting us kids, older kids our Alec, his mates Colin Price, Jim gulliver's son, Mr Lomax's son with blue suede shoes. I still have a book for a prize for attendance. Christmas parties. Trying to get near the fire in the middle of the room in Winter.

I have photographs of the chapel and its congregation in April 1949, and the Flower Service 1954, Platform Bridge Methodist Walking Day 17th July 1948 and Abram Methodist Walking Day 23rd July 1948. I would like to think these photographs might join an archive for Bickershaw Chapel where my husband's parents, James and Sheila, lovingly attended for many years. Please do contact me by e-mail if you can help them find their rightful place. Many thanks, Sharon Lawrence sharon@flyingchangespa.co.uk
