Hi Pat where have you got the monkeys from ?

Comment by: Pat van Vliet on 23rd March 2009 at 21:04

They just crossed my path Mick, aren't they cute? I've always loved monkeys, so couldn't resist having my photo taken with them when asked.

Yes they are very nice if you like little monkeys Pat.

BTW me and missis are coming over to Holland next month.

I get the impression you're not keen on monkeys Mick, so you won't be visiting Apenheul then??

The monkey is nice - the girl is nicer.

Comment by: Pat van Vliet on 24th March 2009 at 18:38

Probably because the girl is smiling and the monkey is scowling! lol

Not going to Apenheul Pat we going to Amsterdam, Edam, Volendam, and Keukenhof.
Staying in a Hotel Avifauna next to the birdpark

Keukenhof nice in spring Mick with all the tulips. Be sure to visit the Heineken museum in Amsterdam (was the old brewery), good fun - was there over the Christmas periode with my sis and brother-in-law,(might bump into you, I live pretty close by). You can get a ferry from Volendam to Marken, also worth visiting. Have a great time!

Ive done a brewery tour Pat in the early 70 when and they used to give free beer and snacks after the tour.

Our itinerary says we have a boat ride over a lake to south Holland so maybe that is to Marken
