This photo is of the St Mary's football team round about early to mid 1930's.
My father is the one holding the football.
His name was Harry Greenwwod

It's unusual to see a pic of the St Mary's team without the then Vicar, the Revd. Samuel Bryson.
Parishioners have idetified a couple more players: Horace Valentine, two to the left of Harry G, with John Owen (who became a Churchwarden of St Mary's) behind him. The player on the right in the centre row they think is Ken Robinson, and to his right is the Verger, Mr Allen.
