The fact that Borough are shown in red and white quarters may be misleading. They wore what we would now call halves (like Blackburn), but were described as quarters as you had right sleeve, red body, left body and left sleeve - divided into four.

Nowadays quarters is used to describe Bristol Rovers kit.

Roy no, Turner...He was my form master in the third year and we gave him HELL at the end of the year, I think he was leaving the school? he got us all together and said "Well form 3T you haven't been a bad bunch of lads and I wish you all the best in the future" We all felt a right bunch of Bastards.
