On the back of the photo it says "Pemberton Rovers winning Wigan League Cup". It is probably from the 1940's. My dad Jack Greenwood is 2nd from left on front seated row.

Thank you for posting Maxine. It's exactly teams such as this who provided the backbone for Wigan RL to develop a world wide reputation as a great team. The Club could always find golden nuggets of local talent to add to the many imports they brought in over the years - to become the best in the world.

The player holding the trophy is Harry Nicholson, who signed for Rochdale Hornets a year later.
