front row left to right Ralph Lythgoe,Eric Rimmer,Tony Parr.centre row Sammy Rudd,? Stan Wilson (saggy).back row ? Dick Atherton,Bill Skiffington,Jack Shepherd.Does anybody know the names of the people on the photo and which bowling green it was.the photo was taken circa 1960.

bloke at back row on left was store keeper at wigan corp transport melverly st depot in 1962

Dick Atherton was the park keeper at Alexandra Park for quite a while in the late 40s

Front row white slip-over is Ralph Lythgoe; leaning on Eric Rimmer; next to him is Dave Roberts; behind Ralph is Harold Jones, next striped tie is Dick Atherton; Ernie Lambert pen in top pocket; extreme right is Stan Wilson holding score-card; Back row right hair slicked back is Jack Shepherd; next to Jack is Frank Ashcroft; tall man at back is only one who didn't work for Wigan Parks Dept. he worked at Wigan Corp bus depot. Taken around 1962/3

My dad Francis is on the picture my mum reckons this is taken before 62-63 as he was married by then and had stopped playing having moved out of Wigan . Teresa puts it more likely at 59-60 Hope this helps
