One of the smallest ever goalkeepers or two of the tallest ever full backs I've ever seen, not sure which.

It's the ochre coloured brook that runs from Goose Green through Worsley Mesnes and into the Duggy.

Not sure where Smithy Brook starts as it splits into many brooks, but it turns orange by the ocre in Blundell's wood not so far from the entrance of Winstanley Hall on Pemberton Rd - Billinge Rd (Pony Dick), you can actually see the contaminated water flooding out of the flooded pit and run into Smithy Brook, to the right it's clear and to the left it's orange. Good photo.

Good picture jb. Any idea exactly where it was taken - i.e. which street?

I have this same photo from my deceased uncle, John Coghlin. I am trying to find out about my grandfather Joseph Coghlin and wondered whether the Joe Coghlin referred to by Jean Coghlin is the same person. He did however live at Turners Yard, Goose Green. His wife was Annie Coghlin. Thank you.
