This team was the first Wigan Youth team to win the Lancashire Football Association Youth Cup in 1954/55----- the 2 people on both ends no idea who they are and why they are on the photo.

The first year Boys club was put
together by Mr Frank (cant of is name was ) my Father ,, Jim Green
Club was got together in 1952/3/4/5/6. We played against Blackburn youth team at Stubshaw Cross ,we beat them 1-0 my Father did more than anyone else in those years.
It was said we were the best Youth team in Lancashire
We won the Wigan youth team by
10 -nil.what a team we were.
