Did this couple have a daughter or grandaughter called Rose?
Rose Fairhurst would have been student nurse that passed her State Registered Nurse's exams possibly in the 60's at Wigan Infirmary. I have a newspaper cutting to that effect,sent to me by my Auntie Lizzie who lived at Upholland. This Rose lived near the Stanley Hotel, Wigan/Upholland? Also in the photo is Mary Ritson among other girls, Anyone know?

Sorry, no, they had no Rose. I am one of their daughters and I have a sister Doreen and brother Keith. You never know, we could be related, I am just researching our family tree and found that my grandad, Thomas Fairhurst had many relations. I didn't know he had any so maybe somewhere along the line we could be on the same 'tree'.
