Looking at the regalia I think it's either The Foresters or The Rechabites

All I know is that most of the family was involved in Engineering.

The Foresters and Rechabites were Friendly Societies, which in return for a reasonable subscription would provide financial assistance in times of ill health, etc.
The Rechabites were a Temperance Association, which makes me think there may be some connection in view of the football team pic you have also posted.
If you do a google image search for 'Rechabite regalia' and 'Foresters regalia' you should turn some pics up of tackle similar to that those in your photo are wearing.
Ian - Might also be Oddfellows (a similar type of association).
Its great to see some Indian gents there too. Not enough historical images show this.
