Fred Waterhouse is holding the ball. I am pretty certain this is the Maypole team because it is similar to another photograph I have posted in the past, I recognise some of the faces.

The man behind Fred Waterhouse,is Bill Scuse who was our next door neighbour in Abram, Bill worked at Mapole when i was a lad
