I`m the chap on the extreme left. Your father beat me in the semi-final 21-18 & he lost in the final 21-17. The date was Friday 10th August 1956. The two bowling greens at the Springfield Hotel were built on many years ago.

nice 2 hear off u ernest. my DAD passed away a few years ago. but we kept the clippings didnt hav cameras them days. hope u dont mind me askin but how old are u now ?

BIG AL,I was born on 14th January 1928 so I`m now 81.
