This was taken outside his house , 121 Cale Lane, New Springs.I clearly remember riding in this vehicle when going out with my Grandad to the wholesalers or delivering to shops. It was a lovely deep green colour. It had piles of receipts on the narrow brown leather seats and there was always a huge tin of Woodbines just behind Grandad's seat. The best bit was when the weather was warm he would travel with the windscreen up. Fantastic!

Good photo' Dr Keith,A Karrier Bantam, Glovers Bakery in Hindley had one in the 50's, I also knew Harold,I was friendly with the Hilton's at 516, across the road from Tattum's. The opening windscreens were a good thing too, even in winter fog, when open you had better visibility. E.T.
