Robert's marriage to Alice Roper took place on the 9th December 1896.
Robert 26, Bachelor, mattress maker of 22 Nevill Street.
Alice 21, spinster of 14 Albert Street Hindley.
Robert's father Henry deceased.
Alice's father John Roper
