We have a copy of this picture among our family photos. Although I can't identify the girl there is a possibility she may be a member of the Smallshaw, Finney or Gaskell families (Martland Mill, Shevington, Marsh Green districts)

I've just noticed your surname Peter (Mason). It so happens some of the Gaskell family I mentioned in my last post re this picture had ties with a Mason family who lived in the Mill Lane area of Appley Bridge. Could there be some connection there regarding the photo?
