Backyard in Belle Green Lane Higher Ince c1956 featuring Joe Pearson's elder tree in all its finery and Sybil Hunt in all her finery. Mi Mam worked in a bakery in Ince at the time and I think she might have been smuggling pies out in them pockets. It's strange to think that she doesn't look that dangerous here. I wonder how she came to develop such a precise and penetrating right hook - it can't have been my fault!
