Would you be a descendant of a Thomas Rothwell,of Rainford?
He married my gt gt grandma,Esther Evans(nee Farrington) 24th June 1867.
Esther Farrington married William Evans,but I think he was only in his 30s when he died,leaving Esther with 3 children.

On the marriage details,Thomas' father is down as Richard Rothwell.,labourer

My cousin, David Rothwell, has some Walkers attached to his family tree on his mothers side. Ellen Fairhurst his g grandmother married a John Walker of Aspull in 1891. I think some of the Walkers emigrated to the U.S.
