Harold Ahshall and Enid Barton's wedding at Digmoor Methodist Chapel. Harold was headteacher at Moorside school Skelmersdale and Enid was a teacher at Lamberhead County Primary.
Mr Ashall was a fantastic Head Teacher. He made music central to everything at Moorside and we loved it. I didn't know his wife worked at Lamberhead - we used to play recorder concerts there, now I know why! A lovely, kind, inspirational man.

I too remember Mr Ashall and still love the planet suite and the nutcracker suite he played in morning assembly. I often wonder whether he realised
sed the impact he had on his pupils.
