My Grandad Ralph Brown, taken - at a guess - 1950.
He lived in Ince Green Lane. A nice chap, who always sat in a chair by the window, watching us kids play, whenever we would visit. Always had a smile on his face.

Was his wife's maiden name Farnworth? Found a marriage between Ralph Brown and Mary E Farnworth in Wigan in 1922
